Tournaments
If you have a premium account you can host tournaments on GoalStar footballmanager. Hosting a tournament costs 20% of the total entry fee income, at least however 1.000.000 Credits.
Hosting a tournament with a maximum of 16 teams and a entry fee of 1.000.000 Credits therefore costs you 3.200.000 Credits.
Calculation: 16 * 1.000.000 * 0,2 = 3.200.000
However 25% of the entry fees will be credited to your bank account, that means that you will make a profit of 5& if your tournament is fully booked. Calculation for the given example: 16 * 1.000.000 * 0,25 = 4.000.000 makes a total of 800.000 Credits profit.
You should not demand excessive entry fees, otherwise none or to little clubs will take part in your tournement. Even a to high maxium number of starters is not usefull. Tournaments with too little starters (at least 50%) will be cancelt by the system. In this case the entry fees will be refounded by the system, however your hosting fee is lost.
The remaining 75% of the entry fees will be distributed as winnings. As the host you can determine the division of profits for the placings 1-4. Furthermore you can set a password for your tournament, therewith only selected teams can take part in the tournament.
You can set 3 kind of starting fees:
1.none 2. bank account 3. bankbook
This setting not only determine from which club account (bank account or bankbook) the entry fees have to be paid, it also defines the kind of Credits which have to be paid by the host to create the tournament. Furthermore the setting define kind of winnings.
