The GoalStar league system

The highest division is the GoalStar Superleague. The promoted teams of the highest national divisons play in the GoalStar Superleague.

Each division have a diffent number of leagues.
The number of leagues depends on the total number of teams playing GoalStar and the results of the past season.

promotion relegation, cup qualification

The tables of the leagues show marking lines.
The lines denotes the promotion and relegation placings. They also indicate qualification for the national cup or the GoalStar Supercup.

GoalStar Superleague:
position 1 and 2 - qualification for the GoalStar Supercup
position 3, 4, 5 und 6 - qualification for the national cup
position 7, 8, 9 und 10 - relegation to League England

Deutschlandliga:
position 1 - qualification for the GoalStar Supercup and promotion to Goalstar Superleague
position 2 und 3 - qualification for the national cup
position 7, 8, 9 und 10 - Abstieg in die Regionalliga

Regionalliga:
position 1 - Qualifikation für den nationalen Pokal und Aufstieg in die Deutschlandliga
position 2 - Aufstieg in die Deutschlandliga
position 7, 8, 9 und 10 - Abstieg in die Landesliga

Third Football Division:
position 1 und 2 - Aufstieg in die Regionalliga
position 7, 8, 9 und 10 - Abstieg in die Bezirksliga

Conference League:
position 1 und 2 - promotion to Third Football Division

The rules for a comparsion of two teams:
1. scores
2. goal difference
3. achieved goals
4. if all values are equal the senior team will be chosen

Durch Löschungen von Teams kann es dazu kommen, dass die Teamanzahl nicht mehr zu den Bereichszahlen passt.
Sollte am Saisonende die Teamanzahl nicht mehr zu der aktuellen Ligenanzahl in den Bereichen passen,
rücken Teams aus den unteren Ligen nach.
Es kann also durchaus passieren, dass ein Team aufsteigt obwohl es nicht auf einem Aufstiegsplatz war
oder im aktuellen Bereich verbleibt obwohl es eigentlich auf einem Abstiegsplatz war.

Für die Sponsorengelder und die Qualifikation für die Pokale ist das erreichte Ergebnis relevant.
Es zählt also ein Abstieg etc. auch wenn durch eine Ligenneueinteilung dieser nicht vollzogen wird!
